Serdecznie zapraszamy do udziału w oprowadzaniu kuratorskim, które odbędzie się 16.10 o godz. 16:00. Poprowadzi je autor wystawy czasowej w PAN Muzeum Ziemi, Nicolas Grospierre, fotograf i artysta. Towarzyszyć mu będzie Grzegorz Piątek, autor biografii Bohdana Pniewskiego „Niezniszczalny”.

W trakcie oprowadzania będą mieli Państwo możliwość przyjrzenia się nie tylko obiektom fotograficznych prezentującym wnikliwe studium agatów autorstwa N. Grospierre’a, ale również i samym minerałom, które wybrane przez artystę, zostały poddane ocenie estetycznej i umieszczone wedle przyjętego przez niego klucza w naszych gablotach wystawienniczych projektu Stanisława Zamecznika (1909-1971), polskiego plakacisty, plastyka, wystawiennika i scenografa. Kolejną warstwą wystawy i zarazem elementem oprowadzania będzie zwiedzanie Willi Pniewskiego, którą zarówno N. Grospierre jak i G. Piątek, porównują do geody – przestrzeni masy skalnej wypełnionej minerałem. W trakcie oprowadzania spojrzymy na tę definicję z czysto estetycznej perspektywy.

Nicolas Grospierre (ur. 1975) – fotograf. Mieszka w Warszawie. Z wykształcenia socjolog. Od 1999 mieszka w Polsce. Portretuje głównie architekturę, detale i pozostałości po okresie komunistycznym w Polscei Europie Wschodniej. Analizuje idee stojące za wizualnymi reprezentacjami instytucji.

Grzegorz Piątek (ur. 1980) – polski architekt, krytyk i historyk architektury.

You are cordially invited to participate in a curator guided tour on October 16th at 4:00 p.m., led by the author of the temporary exhibition at the PAS Museum of the Earth in Warsaw, Nicolas Grospierre, photographer and artist. He will be accompanied by Grzegorz Piątek, author of the biography of Bohdan Pniewski, „The Indestructible”.

During the guided tour, you will have the opportunity to look not only at the photographic objects presenting Nicolas Grospierre’s insightful study of agates, but also at the minerals themselves, which, selected by the artist, have been subjected to aesthetic evaluation and placed according to the key he adopted in our exhibition cabinets designed by Stanisław Zamecznik (1909-1971), a Polish poster and visual artist, exhibitor and stage designer. Another layer of the exhibition and also part of the guided tour will be a tour around Pniewski’s Villa, which they both compare to a geode – a space of rock mass filled with mineral. The guided tour will look at this definition from a purely aesthetic perspective.

Nicolas Grospierre (born 1975) – photographer, artist and sociologist. He mainly portrays architecture, details and remnants of the communist period in Poland and Eastern Europe. Analyses the ideas behind the visual representations of institutions.

Grzegorz Piątek (born 1980) – Polish architect, architectural critic and historian.
